We are delighted to tell you that the recent Ofsted visit to our school was very successful and the inspectors found that Elmstead Wood Primary School is a GOOD school!
We continue to be thrilled with the positive response we have received regarding our use of Marvellous Me. Amazingly, we have had almost 9,000 items of good news sent home and 6,000 Hi5s from parents and carers. We currently have 85% of parents and families using the app. Thank you for your ongoing support in celebrating your children’s achievement.
Permanent playground reading hut opens.
Elmstead Wood Primary School has been fortunate enough to qualify to join the government's National School Breakfast Programme (NSBP) which is being delivered by the charities Family Action and Magic Breakfast.
Many children have made a fantastic start using the PiXL Times Table App. At one point this term, Elmstead Wood Primary School were 3rd in the country for using the app! If you haven't already, give it a go, it is a fun way to learn times tables. You can find more information here.
A wonderful pop-up library appeared on the playground on Monday.
